Our parent company, Smits Group, has a large agricultural pedigree with a pig farm network which puts us in a unique position to be able to divert your food waste to animal feed whenever possible.
At QBS, we have a history of supplying high quality animal feed to pig farms throughout the UK and across Europe.
Wet Feed
The food, beverage and fermentation industries produce a large amount of co-products (wet feed) that are not suitable for human consumption and so have to be disposed of in another way. Wet feed has taken up a key part in the diet of pigs due to its low costs, sustainability and nutritional value to the pigs.
